Shelter & Emergency Housing

No one without safe shelter is “somebody else’s problem” (Isaiah 58:7). We find what already exists, and where nothing fits, we open doors (Job 31:32).

“The sojourner has not lodged in the street; I have opened my doors to the traveler.”
(Job 31:32)

Homelessness & emergency housing

Make sure no one without shelter is passed by because housing is difficult (Hebrews 13:2).

Scriptural basis

Isaiah 58:7; Job 31:32; Hebrews 13:2

Class I for sheltering people in genuine need. Class III for the modern housing arrangements used to do it.

What we do

  • Street and referral teams who find out what is needed today
  • Connection to good existing shelters
  • A small emergency-housing pathway where no placement exists
  • Rotating hospitality with willing host churches

Who serves

  • Intake & placement coordinators
  • Drivers
  • Hosts
  • Housing helpers
  • Family-support volunteers
  • Practical-service teams

Our commitment. The prudent see danger and prepare (Proverbs 22:3): screening, child and host safety and specialist referral always come first.

Serve in Shelter.

Whatever gift you have received, use it to serve others, as good stewards of God’s varied grace (1 Peter 4:10).
