Serve With Us

Here am I. Send me.

Bring your skills, your car, your toolbox, your Spanish, your nursing licence or simply your Saturday mornings (1 Peter 4:10). You don’t need your church’s permission to serve with us, and you never have to leave it (Hebrews 10:24–25).

“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?… Here I am! Send me.”
(Isaiah 6:8)

How to begin serving

  1. Step 1

    Come and see

Tell us your gifts, languages, availability and your church, if you have one (John 1:46).

  2. Step 2

    Affirm the faith

For ministry, mentoring and leadership roles (Titus 1:9). Bounded professional and support roles are open to all.

  3. Step 3

    Be vetted

Background checks and role-specific clearances, never rushed (1 Timothy 5:22).

  4. Step 4

    Be equipped

Safeguarding, mandated-reporter and role training before you serve (Ephesians 4:11–12).

  5. Step 5

    Be sent

To a real need near you, matched to your gifts (Romans 12:6–8).

Every gift has a place

Who we are looking for.

There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4). The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you” (1 Corinthians 12:21).

Professionals

Nurses, physicians, dentists, pharmacists, lawyers, social workers, counsellors, tradespeople, and former law-enforcement and safeguarding professionals: your training can open a ministry that could not exist without you (Exodus 31:3–5). Professionals of any faith are welcome in clearly bounded roles where their skill serves the person in need.

  • Legal referral
  • Licensed counselling
  • OT & PT
  • Social work
  • Forensic accounting
  • Investigations

Businesses

Sponsor a cup, interview someone coming home from prison, or lend a van on moving day. Do not withhold good when it is in your power to do it (Proverbs 3:27).

Got a fruit tree?

Register your backyard oranges, lemons or avocados and our harvest team will glean them for families who need fresh food, just as Boaz left the gleanings for Ruth (Ruth 2:15–16).

Get in touch.

This is a first conversation, not a commitment. A coordinator will be in touch within a week to talk and pray through what fits.

We only ask for what we need, and we keep it in confidence (Proverbs 11:13).
